And now these three remain: faith, hope and love.

1 Corinthinas 13: 13

Hello and thanks for stopping by.

This bit is about how my own journey in becoming like Jesus has shaped my passion for using the Bible to guide others. The Bible may seem like an ancient manuscript, but it remains relevant, alive, and trustworthy today. How so? Because, like the law of science and human nature, wisdom and fundamental truth don’t change with time. And how did I become convinced that the Bible is true and relevant? Jesus who claims to be God’s Word himself gives us this clue:
"If you do what I say, you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."
Acquiring truth comes not from knowledge alone, but also from experiencing it. This has been indeed my journey, first knowledge, then application, then growth. Repeat until you get stuck. Then you re-examine and revise your knowledge and understanding, reapply, and grow. And repeat.
Cheers
Eunice

My Bible knowledge has been the cornerstone of my life and guides me in the steps I take. My spiritual growth, however, didn’t happen on Sundays, but on the street, where everyday reality challenges my beliefs. My faith was shaped and deepened through these experiences and more: cultural shock as I immigrated from Taiwan to America, and later to Germany; career advances as I changed roles from engineering to marketing, and as I took on more leadership responsibilities; self-reliance as I remain single passed child-bearing age. And when my spiritual growth came to a crisis, I had to look deep within and learned to remove the blocks from past traumas. Even my years of Bible knowledge didn’t seem to help, that is, not until after I reframed my understanding. These major breakthroughs profoundly uplifted my level of joy, deepened my connection with people, and gave me back an authentic identity. Through it all, I was never alone. I am lucky to know someone in a position of power and influence who had opened doors, made connections, and even negotiated salaries for me. My deep love for God did not come from attending churches, but from having personally experienced him as a father, mother, companion, guide, provider, protector, vindicator, teacher, joy-promoter, dream-fulfiller, truth revealer, and more. Our partnership is one with mutual respect: God respects my sovereignty to choose him, and I respect his Sovereignty as the ruler of the universe who chooses to share the richness of his kingdom with me. While this is not exactly an equitable partnership, I am quite happy with my share. As my journey continues, wisdom from the Bible and the richness of my experience will continue to guide my steps. I cordially invite you to join me to take the steps in becoming like Jesus, the most glorious version any of us can dream of.
